Is there any chance for a version that includes WMP & IE? Don't have enough technical knowledge to add IE by myself, also can't install WMP. In previous version IE was build-in and I was able to install WMP from .msu package (takes no effect).

tt's not that I EVER liked it or used it on my on will, but I need it for _compatibility_ reasons.

And even a forgotten temp file or wallpaper is larger the space needed to restore it.

I got it back with this post-install method and I would be happy with it, but unfortunately I also need Edge for the very same reason, and Edge can't be added in any way. And what's more, in current Win10 Pro Lite Edge crashes and is unusable.

Re-adding Internet Explorer -

Hi Lite8,

I managed to isolate a files need to re-ad Internet Explorer. Trutj is, --- IE takes _only_ 836 KB (x86) and 1651 KB (x64), so there is little point in removing it from lite'd images.

I made a package so that anyone who wants IE back, don'r need a full WIn10 any more (including a batch file).

Lite8, do you mind if I share it here? I can even send it to you to check.

Files and batch script to restore IE:

Extract files and run "re-add_IE_x86.cmd" or "re-add_IE_x64.cmd" respectively as administrator.

- I extracted the install.wim using 7-zip and copied the files that you demonstrated in the video into a folder (C:\IE)
- I installed Process Monitor and set a filter for Path -:> C:\IE so that it would show file accesses only in C:\IE folder.
- Then I ran the command line you showed in the video (dism....).
- Where Process Monitor showed "NOT FOUND", I checked what file was not found.
- I searched for that file in install.wim and copied into C:\IE.
- Then I ran the command again and again until it had all the required files and completed successfully.
